Contact form data processing and email delivery

When you submit our contact form, we process the data you enter – name, company (optional), business e-mail address and your message – for the sole purpose of handling your enquiry and any follow-up communication.

The legal basis for this processing is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you grant via the consent checkbox in the form, and/or the taking of steps prior to entering into a contract pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by writing to hello@chipsconnect.com.

To deliver these submissions by e-mail we use the following processors within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR: Resend (Resend, Inc.) as our e-mail delivery service, and just4online as our technical service provider, whose verified domain (forms@just4online.com) is used as the sending address. Your submission is transmitted to hello@chipsconnect.com. Appropriate data processing agreements are in place with these processors.

We store your enquiry for as long as necessary to process it and to comply with any statutory retention obligations, after which it is deleted.

Web analytics (Vercel Web Analytics)

This website uses Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly web analytics service provided by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. We use it to measure aggregated usage of our website — such as page views, referrers and approximate region — in order to understand traffic and improve our offering.

Vercel Web Analytics works without cookies and without storing or reading information on your device. It does not create persistent identifiers, does not track you across websites, and does not collect data that identifies you personally. Any IP address is processed transiently only to derive anonymized, aggregated metrics and is not stored.

Because no cookies or comparable technologies are used and no personal data is stored, this analysis does not require your consent. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the needs-based design and statistical evaluation of our website pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Insofar as data is processed on servers outside the EU, appropriate safeguards in the form of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses are in place. Further information: https://vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy and https://vercel.com/docs/analytics/privacy-and-compliance

Cookies

Like many other websites, we also use so-called "cookies". Cookies are small text files that are transferred from a website server to your hard drive. Through this, we automatically receive certain data such as IP address, browser used, operating system about your computer and your connection to the Internet.

Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to a computer. Based on the information contained in cookies, we can facilitate your navigation and enable the correct display of our web pages.

Under no circumstances will the data we collect be passed on to third parties or linked to personal data without your consent.

Of course, you can also view our website without cookies. Internet browsers are regularly set to accept cookies. You can deactivate the use of cookies at any time via your browser settings. Please use the help functions of your Internet browser to find out how to change these settings. Please note that individual functions of our website may not work if you have disabled the use of cookies.

Data transfer to third countries

Your personal data may be transferred to the USA if the recipient is based there or the parent company is based in the USA. Due to the legal situation in the USA, there is a risk that your data may be viewed by US authorities without effective legal action being possible against this. In order to maximize your protection, standard contractual clauses have been concluded with the recipients in accordance with Art 46 para 2 lit b GDPR.

Storage and retention obligations

We store your data for as long as this is necessary for the provision of our services or as long as we have a legitimate interest in further storage. Data that is subject to statutory retention obligations will be deleted after these periods have expired.

Your rights to information, correction, blocking, deletion and objection

You have the right to obtain information about your personal data stored by us at any time. Likewise, you have the right to correction, blocking or, apart from the mandatory data storage for business processing, deletion of your personal data. If you make use of this right, please send us a written message to the above address or by mail to the mail address hello@chipsconnect.com.

In order that a blocking of data can be taken into account at any time, this data must be kept in a blocking file for control purposes. You can also request the deletion of data, unless there is a legal archiving obligation. If such an obligation exists, we will block your data upon request.

You can make changes or revoke consent by notifying us accordingly with effect for the future.

Change of our privacy policy

We reserve the right to occasionally adapt this data protection declaration so that it always complies with the current legal requirements or in order to implement changes to our services in the data protection declaration, e.g. when introducing new services. The new privacy policy will then apply to your next visit.
